Only Warthog Pumps use an actual COMMERCIAL duty engine complete with an oil filter and cannister air intake. No other manufacturer uses a larger HP engine than Warthog
Only Warthog Pumps have couplings to connect the hose to the pump and to connect hoses to each other. Warthog has 2 options for their customers. A standard Polyethylene “insert and twist” coupling and the Industrial Polypropylene camlock couplings.
Only Warthog Pumps use hardened steel gears that mesh with each other. All other manufacturers mesh a small steel gear running at 3600 rpm into an aluminum gear. No more needs to be said about that pairing.
Only Warthog offers not only the standard hose offered by other manufacturers but we also have a reinforced dual layer higher pressure and very durable hose designed for use when the standard hose may burst and also for the commercial and industrial market that requires a hose that will take allot of punishment.
Only Warthog has designed and offers the HHD-100 Hose hold down kit. Not only can they be used to hold the hose down in a breeze but also to stop the hose from rolling down a hill or to secure the hose to a plank or ramp. At Warthog we do not tell our customers to use coat hangers to hold the hose down. Instead we designed a system that does the job perfectly and has a few other uses.
Only Warthog Pumps have been tested by swinging a 10 lb hammer with a 3 foot handle into the side of it 30 times in a few locations without damaging the pump. This hammer is used to drive in posts or bust up cement floors. Now that shows it is a very durable well built pump.

Only Warthog Pumps have been tested by dropping them from a height of 6 feet onto a concrete floor on its bottom, corner of the sieve and on its side 20 times in each location and not show any damage. Then pushed off the back of a truck going down the highway without any damage to the housing or gearbox besides some scuffing. The engine itself had some busted plastic parts but we knew that would happen. However, when placed in a stream it started up and pumped perfectly. It obviously is RUGGED, RELIABLE and READY.
